There is a large variety of accommodation possibilities in Florence!
Maybe it’s just because I used to work in the hospitality business that I’m not much of a “hotel fan”.
Unquestionably there are prestigious true luxury hotels like the “Four Seasons”, the “J.K.Place” or the “Helvetia and Bristol”. They offer top service in a nice setting, if you can afford the high rates. The “Brunelleschi” is a less expensive solution, however, not as personable or cozy as my carefully hand-picked selection of some of the best places where to stay in Florence.
Personally I would like to suggest you to live our town feeling more like home…that’s why I would rather inform you about the three solutions below which I personally know. I assure you in my opinion they are the best match among quality and service you can ever find in Florence, especially for the beauty of the places and for the human relationship you can establish with the hosts.
Palazzo Vecchietti

An historical Casa Torre of the Medieval period, restored by the famous architect Michele Bonan. If you are searching for a unique vacation in the historical heart of Florence, excellent service and luxury. I am going to give you a tip: if you will decide for this option, try to book one of the three rooms/suites with private terrace on the roof!
Paolo, Valentina, Luca e Leonardo, and the General Manager Alessandra will help you to arrange your special holidays in Florence.
Palazzo Alfani Al David
A selection of historical apartments in a gorgeous location, right in front of the Accademia Gallery.
The ideal solution for families, small groups of people and those persons which would like to have an informal stay in a clean and comfortable place. It is a “feeling like home” experience.
Francesca, the General Manager, is a very welcoming host and Ernesto, -the cat- real owner of the building, will give a different touch to your holidays!
Antica Torre di via Tornabuoni 1

It is another Medieval tower, restored as a Luxury Boutique residence. The two terraces at the top of the building give a spectacular view of the town. It is sited in via de’ Tornabuoni, another top location, right in the main shopping area.
I know personally the General Manager Maria Rita, and I can assure you, she and her staff will make anything in their power to let you live your holidays as a real protagonist!
